Most temples in Georgetown, Penang are decorated with carvings of dragons on their walls and column. Personally, I think they are such an amazing work of art. Every single one of the carving is unique and looked very elegant. So, I decided to paint some of them with watercolor and ink. For this piece, the carvings on this dragon looked very intricate. I felt like I’m carving the dragon on a piece of paper, as the dragon emerged right in front of me whilst I painted it. I know the work that went on these dragons are far more difficult and time consuming. Respect to the artist who sculpted these stone dragons for their hard work and patience.
