Mushrooms are my favorite vegetable. I loved painting this piece; I think the texture of the mushrooms turned out great. For this picture, I tried not to use water brushes but normal watercolor brushes instead. Slightly different techniques are utilized when using water brushes, however, with normal watercolor brushes the control of water and paint can give some interesting textures to the painting, depending on the technique.
