This painting of an old Ford Truck decaying in the woods is a symbolic gesture of a manmade creation slowly deteriorating over time against the backdrop of nature. I really enjoyed painting this piece, particularly the details of the grass and the leaves. The highlights and shadows of the woods gave depth to the whole painting and depict the thickness of the forest behind the main subject.
