I painted this in 2020 before the Covid 19 lockdown in March. Lets face it, red pandas are one of the cutest creatures on the planet. Unfortunately, there are only a few of them left in the wild and the numbers are decreasing fast, they are in the red list of endangered species. The main cause of the disappearing numbers is lost of habitat. I can’t even imagine the world without these beautiful amazing animal. How disheartened it is to see red pandas would someday vanished forever. 

I inked and put a textured watercolor background for this painting in the end. I think the ink gave a bit of definition to the artwork and make the subject stand out more.
