This is a charcoal drawing of Nina the Snow Leopard. She is a beautiful majestic big cat. This is part of a set of snow leopard drawings using charcoal and colored pencil. I did these drawings in 2020 whilst lockdown.

I was watching a lot of documentary programs on TV about snow leopards, expecially, ‘The Snow Leopards of Leafy London’. These are the stars of the program, the beautiful snow leopards, Nina, Omega and Kamahl. Nina and Kamahl were drawn with charcoal pencils and Omega was with colored pencils on grey Mi Tiense paper.

I really enjoyed myself drawing these magnificent animals and I like the way the drawings turned out as well. I used a Derwent China White pencil and charcoal pencils.
