DESCRIPTION
I lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, for about 13 years. Newcastle has a very special place in my heart. The Theatre Royal is one of the most prominent buildings in the city, it was built in 1837 and it is a Grade I listed building. Personally, I think the façade of the building is exquisite with its 6 massive Corinthian columns standing tall in front of the building. This painting was done with watercolor pencils and ink and I tried to get the decorative motifs on the front of the building as detailed as possible. I have walked in front of this building thousands of times and have always been in awe of its incredible design.
